Parts Interpreter

Location: Robinvale

We currently have a full-time permanent position available for a Parts Interpreter at our Robinvale Dealership which services, repairs and maintains a large range of industry leading John Deere equipment.

The Role

You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • High quality customer service via phone and face to face enquiries
  • Promoting and selling products
  • Invoicing of goods and services
  • Managing stock and daily orders and ensuring stock inventory levels are adequate
  • Verify shipping receipts and stock orders against inventory
  • Liaising with the Service Department to ensure parts are available for service work
  • Liaising with the Sales Department to ensure parts and accessories are available for new machines and equipment
  • Preparing and maintaining the showroom and merchandise displays
  • Following all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments

To be successful you will need

  • Previous experience in a parts environment
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible (rostered weekend and on call work may be required)
  • Self-motivated, organised with attention to detail and ability to work within a team or independently
  • Strong customer service focus and work ethic
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Sound computer skills
  • Well presented

Preferred

  • Certificate in Parts Interpreting or equivalent industry training
  • Previous experience in the agricultural industry
  • Experience in the automotive or earthmoving industries
  • Forklift licence
