We currently have a full-time permanent position available for a Business Support Officer at our Echuca Dealership which services, repairs and maintains a large range of industry leading John Deere equipment.
The Role
You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:
- Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to various departments within the Branch.
- Greet and engage with customers calling or attending the site, ensuring they experience a positive customer experience which reflects on the Company and Brands.
- Manage internal workflows, data entry and preparation of various reports.
- Manage correspondence including emails, letters and other communications.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, invoicing and customer interactions and archiving of documents and files.
- Assist managers with Branch recruitment ensuring the applicable systems are accurate and up to date.
- Assist with the Branch financials and cashflow within the delegation thresholds.
- Proactively and effectively manage creditors and debtors.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer enquiries, addressing feedback and or concerns.
- Assist with customer accounts management including making contact with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and overdue account holders.
To be successful you will need:
- Highly desirable to have at least 2 years’ experience in a senior administrative, financial or business support role, preferably within the automotive or agricultural industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong financial management and acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
- Provide timely and effective business solutions and support to a dynamic and broad-spectrum team.
- Willingly partner with the team, creating positive relationships and culture to improve business outcomes and performance.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
