The Role
We are looking for inexperienced and high quality trades people to join our team specialising in Heavy Vehicle service repairs and maintenance. Relevant training will be provided for successful applicants from the Automotive, Road Transport, Auto-Electrical, Earthmoving or Vehicle Dismantling Industry.
You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:
- Performing services, repairs, and maintenance on John Deere Agricultural Equipment
- Precision Ag products (factory and in-house training provided)
- Pre-delivery and set up optimisation of new John Deere equipment
- Providing excellent customer service, technical support, and advice to customers
- Participating in John Deere training programs
- Adhering to all health and safety policies, procedures, and legislation
- Completing all required documentation such as timecards, service worksheets and warranty claims

To be successful you will need:
- Relevant trade qualification
- Experience servicing and maintaining heavy diesel products (not essential)
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Experience working on CAN bus electrical systems optimal (not essential)
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Reliable, punctual and flexible (rostered weekend and on call work may be required and available)
- Self-motivated, organised with attention to detail and someone who takes pride in their work
- Able to work within a team or independently, and remotely
- Strong customer service focus and work ethic
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
We will strongly consider the following also:
- Applicants who have no trade qualification but have experience in the automotive, road transport, earthmoving or vehicle dismantling and are willing to learn and grow a career in the Agriculture industry
- Experience with servicing and maintaining equipment in the Automotive, Auto-Electrical Vehicle Dismantling, Earthmoving or Road Transport fields
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining agricultural machinery and equipment such as harvesters, large tractors, tillage, and spraying equipment
- Forklift licence
