Business Support Officer

We currently have a full-time permanent position available for a Business Support Officer at our Echuca Dealership which services, repairs and maintains a large range of industry leading John Deere equipment.

The Role

You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to various departments within the Branch.
  • Manage internal workflows, data entry and preparation of various reports.
  • Manage correspondence including emails, letters and other communications.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, invoicing and customer interactions and archiving of documents and files.
  • Assist with Branch recruitment ensuring the applicable systems are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with the Branch financials and cashflow within the delegation thresholds.
  • Proactively and effectively manage creditors and debtors.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer enquiries and address feedback and or concerns.
  • Assist with customer accounts management.

To be successful you will need:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a senior administrative, financial or business support role, preferably within the automotive or agricultural industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong financial management and acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Provide timely and effective business solutions and support to a dynamic and broad-spectrum team.
  • Willingly partner with the team, creating positive relationships and culture to improve business outcomes and performance.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
