We currently have a full-time permanent position available for a Parts Interpreter at our Echuca Dealership which services, repairs and maintains a large range of industry leading John Deere equipment.
The Role
You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:
- High quality customer service via phone and face to face enquiries
- Promoting and selling products
- Invoicing of goods and services
- Managing stock and daily orders and ensuring stock inventory levels are adequate
- Verify shipping receipts and stock orders against inventory
- Liaising with the Service Department to ensure parts are available for service work
- Liaising with the Sales Department to ensure parts and accessories are available for new machines and equipment
- Preparing and maintaining the showroom and merchandise displays
- Following all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
To be successful you will need
- Previous experience in a parts environment
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Reliable, punctual and flexible (rostered weekend and on call work may be required)
- Self-motivated, organised with attention to detail and ability to work within a team or independently
- Strong customer service focus and work ethic
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Sound computer skills
- Well presented
Preferred
- Certificate in Parts Interpreting or equivalent industry training
- Previous experience in the agricultural industry
- Experience in the automotive or earthmoving industries
- Forklift licence
