We are looking for a mechanically minded individual that has a passion for optimising equipment to ensure superior productivity to fill a role as a full time Integrated Solutions Consultant at our Echuca Dealership

The Role

You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Provide solutions-based business consulting services to customers (i.e. advising customers on optimising performance, reducing costs, operation efficiencies, etc.).
  • May also support the branch efforts with third-party providers (Certified Crop Adviser, Ag Service Provider, etc.) and related John Deere businesses.
  • Develop and deliver employee and customer training for digital solutions and advanced DATA management.
  • Advise customers of the appropriate web-based tools and accounts to manage their machine and agronomic data.
  • Co-ordinate the execution of the Branch’s Haeusler’s Group Precision Ag strategy.
  • Assist in developing and the execution of the Precision Ag Strategic Plan to ensure ongoing Precision Ag mainstreaming across all Departments at the Branch.
  • Assist in leading the organisation in John Deere and OEM digital farming products.
  • Ensures understanding of John Deere and OEM Digital solutions in Sales, Service, Parts, and all other Departments.

To be successful you will need:

  • VCE or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
  • Tertiary education (Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Bachelor) preferred but not essential.
  • Interest in agronomy and farm production systems.
  • Willingness to understand the theory of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in agricultural machinery.
  • Ability to operate with a solutions approach.
  • Mechanical and diagnostic aptitude.
  • Experience operating farm machinery (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Experience working co-operatively in a team environment.
  • Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to Company locations and customers.
  • Current and valid driver’s licence.
