We currently have a part-time permanent position available for an Office/Workshop Cleaner at our Shepparton Dealership. You will be responsible for cleaning Company facilities and general cleaning duties ensuring a clean, healthy and safe work environment for our staff, customers and business visitors.
The Role
You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:
- Cleaning and maintaining Company buildings including offices, showroom, workshop, bathrooms and kitchens and keeping all public spaces and amenities clean and tidy.
- General cleaning including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, surface cleaning and cleaning high touch areas, glass cleaning and emptying rubbish bins.
- Waste management including, rubbish bin cleaning, general rubbish removal and recycling.
- High pressure cleans and grounds maintenance including grease and oil stain removal, car park cleaning and building washing.
- Ensuring the safe handling and labelling of chemicals and the use of cleaning products.
- Identifying potential safety or maintenance issues and communicating them to management.
- Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to and consistency in cleaning and service delivery.
Essential
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to bend, push, pull and lift repetitively.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and good organisation skills.
- Ability to accept, understand and follow instructions.
- Good personal hygiene and presentation.
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings if needed.
- Ability to follow and adhere to occupation health and safety legislation and procedures.
Preferred
- Previous commercial cleaning experience highly regarded.
