We currently have a full-time, part-time or casual position available for a Parts Interpreter at our Sea Lake Dealership which services, repairs and maintains a large range of industry leading John Deere equipment.
The Role
You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:
- Promote and sell products and/or services to meet customer needs.
- Provide exceptional support to customers over the phone and in Branch regarding products, and identification of spare parts.
- Interpretation of spare parts requests using part manuals and computer applications.
- Undertake invoicing of goods and/or services and cash handling.
- Liaising with the Service Department to ensure parts are available for service work.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays and cleanliness of the showroom.
- Following all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
To be successful you will need
- Three years of experience in agriculture is preferred, but applicants without this experience are still encouraged to apply
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Self-motivated, organised with attention to detail and ability to work within a team or independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Sound computer skills.
- Well presented.
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
